Comprehensive Guide to NPCs

All NPCs are leveled much like player characters. Though, with each level, NPCs are given static skills and HP that will make even an NPC on your same level a challenge to actually fight. Each NPC is roughly 2x stronger than the average player, not by means of versatility per say, just that all of their stats are well rounded high, which means that while you may have unique skills or sword arts that put you above them, it will usually take teamwork or a unique strategy to take on an NPC at or above your level.

Strength: +5 per level
Speed: +5 per level
Endurance: +5 per level
Stamina: +5 per level
Vitality: +5 per level


An example:
Player- Lv. 10 | 100 stats
Strength: 20
Speed: 20
Endurance: 40
Stamina: 10
Vitality: 10

HP: 1,000


NPC- Lv. 10
Strength: 50
Speed: 50
Endurance: 50
Stamina: 50
Vitality: 50

HP: 5,000


The saving grace is that NPCs can only have skills at their general level. Meaning, they only gain one skill point per every 10 levels. So, their sword skills and spells will be lesser than the average player. Basically, this means a Lv. 10 NPC will only have one D-rank skill. While a Lv. 10 PC can have two D-rank skills OR ONE C-rank skill.

Bosses are obviously a little different and will be explained in a different section.
